We went for lunch before heading to the Postal Museum to make stamps. They have a small buffet set up for lunch. The items were okay; we really liked the sweet carrots and fried eggplant. The nice thing is that if they run out or get low, you just ask for more, and they will bring you a personal dish. Overall, it was okay and clean, with only one restroom. The service was fine, too. Ice cream comes with the buffet, too, I believe, but we didn’t have any.

Convenient local buffet with good service and great views of the surrounding mountains of Thimphu. This location is popular with local guides and tours as well.

Good food is a nice and clean place.. but as most of the places in Bhutan, are severely short-staffed and the food takes time please be mindful and order enough at once so you don’t have to wait again for ages. The staff is very friendly and they are always helpful no doubt. The ambiance of the restaurant is also good and the positive thing about this place is that there are some pre-made snacks like rolls and Patties if you’re starving while waiting for the freshly cooked food.

We came here for a buffet lunch. All the food was delicious and strawberry ice cream was served afterward.

It is a cozy place to eat and chat with friends. Great service, tasty food, funny funny-tasting butter tea.
