I would have given it 10 stars if it was possible. Authentic Korean food in the middle of Thimpu town. The restaurant is run by a couple, the husband is a Bhutanese,, and the wife is Korean. The wife personally prepares all the food, they have limited food prepared for lunch and dinner sessions and they close the entry for new customers after that. The prices are on the higher side but it is worth the money you pay, avoid buying beverages as it is very very expensive.

This is the s only Korean restaurant in the city you will find and one of a kind in the country. The best thing about the restaurant is that it’s run by Koreans only because of which we get to taste real Korean food. Even the interiors of the restaurant have Korean vibes. And yap the food is delicious.

Amazing Korean food in the heart of Bhutan. Had a great conversation with the Korean Bhutan couple who owns the restaurant. The food here tastes just like the ones I’ve had in Korea. I ordered bibimbap and spicy pork. They were both fantastic and I cannot wait to come back here again. I thoroughly enjoyed the food!! Thank you San Maru!
