My friends and I took a 154 km road trip from Karachi to Hyderabad just to check out Brohi Balochistan. We arrived around 9 PM, and the place was packed with people. The wait for their famous Dumhukt was long—almost 3 hours—but once the food arrived, it was totally worth it! The flavors and quality of the dishes really stood out, making the whole experience memorable.

Have dined in here a couple of times. Once with friends and other with my whole extended family. Both times the food was excellent. We tried their super start Dumpukht and Brohi kebab. The kebab’s taste is very very unique and tasty. The dining area though is more suitable for men, They have arrangement for families, but, the indoor one gets quite hot in summers and the outside had issues like stray cats/dogs. Though, the service guys tried to cater to our needs at their best. At weekends, expect a decent waiting time too.

Brohi Balochistan Bar B.Q & Restaurant is located in Latifabad, Hyderabad. They are famous for their meat items. This place is a heaven for meat lovers. They have a lot of sitting space which is almost full with customers. Though the sitting area can be improved, their service was quick. We tried Mutton Dampukht and it was great. The rice was juicy and economical (300 Rs per kg), while the mutton was very tender and delicious. You can order a Mutton piece of your own choice. Overall, their food is great and any meat lover would love this eating place.

Went there for the first time from Karachi. Access from within Hyderabad is a bit complicated. There is an outdoor dining area, covered dining area under construction, and a family hall. Food taste is good. Service is OK. Ambiance is OK. Do not expect any neat and clean setup. It’s like most roadside restaurants. Drinks served did not seem to be original, so better buy drinks from outside. Parking can be a challenge during peak times after 8pm on weekends.

I found it a bit overrated as out of 3 dishes we ordered, we all just liked mutton dumpukht with rice. Chicken special kabab was just okay and mutton karahi was filled with oil and had no masala at all. Service was too poor. We ordered at the time of leaving Karachi at 5 pm to serve dinner at 8:30 pm, however, the dinner was served at 10:15 pm and that too with less quantity than ordered. The place is too crowded and has extreme lighting. They need to work in all departments including quality and taste of food, service, and atmosphere.
