Ianhung Lee Our tour arranged for this restaurant for our lunch, our very first meal in Bhutan after arrival late. The meal was scrumptious. A lot of chili usage can be intimidating with the dry and fresh chili used together with cheese. The service can be a bit slow, but it’s worth the wait.
Shruti Ghorpade One of the best Bhutanese food joints. Made with fresh ingredients, and one can feel the passion and love in the preparation. The hostess and her niece make it a homely experience. Good artistic ambiance. Don’t miss the sodas and the freshly baked bread! The Bhutanese thali was yummy, and the buckwheat dumplings steal the show. One of the only places in Paro where one can taste them besides the Haa Valley.

I enjoyed it. Ordered the black pepper chicken rice set with Thai iced tea. They don’t have that many food options, but it was sufficient for me.
Shubham Singhal Beautiful cozy petite restaurant with a great view of the Paro market street or the mountain river view on the backside. I chose the latter. The host was very polite in suggesting me a good meal, offered a complimentary homemade bread side, and also gave me important insights about the Taktsang trail.
Tap GOD It’s located in the mid-city. But the food taste was very low, and it seemed like little old chicken was used. Most of the products are cold stored. They took more than an hour to prepare the food. The quantity was average. This restaurant can be the least in your preference, but we had no choice but to have lunch in it.
