Harsha J This has been one of our favourite dining experiences in Bhutan. Authentic and well made. Ask for their specials that may not be on the menu – we got to try the buckwheat dumplings and pancakes.
Evelyn Hendarta I ordered red chilli with cheese and pork dumpling. Food was very nice and well presented. They only have a few tables and all were taken when I was there for lunch. They also have outside tables, you can see the Dzong across the river. Very recommended.
Sunil Mori Phang-Guu is a traditional Bhutanese Restaurant on the bank of the Paro Chu River with spectacular views of Rinpung Tzong, Ta Dzong & Zuri Dzong. Food is awesome with wide varieties of Bhutanese cuisines. Must try if you are searching for traditional Bhutanese food in Paro. Staff was courteous and very polite. Ambience and atmosphere were so serene and tranquil. Outdoor setup with bonfire is wonderful. Hearing the river while dining outdoors is a wonderful experience.
Samten Kheychok Phang-guu could be the pork out of pig’s head. Available: Mushroom Datsi (Jili nam chu with local datsi and cheese) 🤤. Zatey dishes with top quality zatey from Sakteng (Highlanders).
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians may enjoy special mushroom Datsi.
Dietary restrictions: Specifically known for pork bayzom and Phang Guu.
Phub Dorji Bhutanese authentic food. 🍲
