Zen Restaurant Reviews

ReviewerReview
Tashi DendupThis property truly lives up to its name, Zen, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful view of Zangtopelri, despite being located in the heart of the bustling Phuentsholing city. I initially thought the rates might be a bit high, but was pleasantly surprised to find them reasonable. The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with stunning views, and most importantly, a clean space, this is the place to be.
Wheelchair accessibility: The ground floor is accessible.
Bhavya Chinna ReddyAmazing food!! On our last day of the Bhutan trip, my friend and I visited this restaurant, and we are so glad we did that. We had amazing pork momos and Shakam Datshi with Tingmo momos. It was really a great experience of local Bhutanese cuisine.
DIPENDU SAMANTAWe visited here during the short trip to Phuentsholing, Bhutan, and tried some authentic Bhutanese dish – Ema Datshi. This dish has an acquired taste; at first, you may not like it, but after finishing it, you will love it. We ordered crispy chili baby corn, which was also good in taste. Price is very reasonable with this classy ambiance. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are limited but taste amazing.
Chablop “PaSsu”The most exotic family restaurant in Phuentsholing with almost a magazine-like menu to choose from. They serve fresh seafood, which makes them stand out. The setting and ambiance deserve five stars if only the waiting time is shorter.
Tashi WangmoThe Bhutanese food they served is not authentic and good. The beef and pork curry is like swimming in cheddar cheese, which is quite unique from the Bhutanese way. We use more of cottage cheese to give the authentic Bhutanese style. Rest is good. Service is prompt, and the restaurant is clean.
