Located on the opposite ridge of Jakar Dzong, it overlooks Chamkhar Valley in Bumthang. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, and the staff are courteous and friendly. The restaurant is easily heated with the warmth of a Bukhari. The meals served are delicious, and they can also prepare your choice of meals if you order in advance. Loved the place—a nice spot to relax and enjoy serene views of Bumthang valley.

Lovely western-style food for breakfast.
Vegetarian options: I had cereal with muesli, toast from home-made brown bread, a cheese omelette, and fresh fruit.

This restaurant serves an excellent breakfast with real bread and home-made jam. For other meals, you can enjoy typical Swiss dishes such as Zurich-style mince, Spätzli, and even raclette and fondue. Local dishes are also available. Don’t hesitate to try the beer brewed on-site, Red Panda.
