The restaurant is located on Wilmslow Road (Curry Mile). I had not been here for several years, and the decor felt like it had not changed one bit.
As soon as we sat down,, were provided with poppadoms and a chutney tray without even being asked if we wanted it. I’d checked the bill and found we were charged for it. I found that a bit cheeky.

The food was just ok low low-quality brand Rice was being used here.
So low service as before and after dinner no body even bothered to check of guests need anything 2 bottles of water 750ml on each table of 8 to 10 guest were served without considering if this water is enough for all the guests on this table or not and later no body bothered to check if guests need more water or not..
The service was not very good as the guests were being ignored and had to wait for refills.

Excellent restaurant nestled amongst several other places of variable quality, I can say I have been a few times now and everything I have eaten has been really enjoyable and full of flavour, the waiter make excellent recommendations, take note of this and discover something amazing, I had chicken kuchi on my last visit and I urge you to try this dish, enjoy!!

We go here a lot as the food is excellent. The service is usually spot on, but tonight there was a wedding party upstairs, so tonight was the worst service I’ve ever had. Our dinner was thrown on the table, the drinks were thrown down, so that the waiter nearly tipped them over me, but I caught them in time. We might try it again, but it might be time for a change.

Finally proper D, not drenched in sauce like I keep seeing on here, thinly cut (a must), proper tasty, reminds me of the donner from saajansfollowfieldd back in the dayβ¦really gogoodoo many places cut it thick and taste too meaty, d lose the essence of what D is

We tried the takeaway around the corner from the restaurant. Very fast service, chargrilled kebabs were very tasty and succulent, served with a very soft naan and fresh salad. One of the best kebabs in the area. Lamb chops were also very tender and had a lovely barbequed flavour.

The worst food in the UK. You want to waste money and time, then I advise going here. I love food, pleased with this place. Not a place to go. I ordered Tasman special Β£69, but the food was so bad we left most of it. Please please avoid

Popodam as a starter is just perfect. Nowhere else can I find a choice of chutney like here. Food is perfect every time. Stuff is nice and kind and helpful. The price is ok. Excited for next visit.

food was good. Recently, they have done refurbishment and changed the look of Lal Qila takeaway on Wilmslow Road, Manchester, Rusholme. I had just been in the toilet after the owner/manager of the Lal Qila left the toilet very dirty urine on the toilet seats. I would say it’s basic Hygiene to keep the place clean. I did make a complaint that you need to keep your toilet clean. I will not go there again# Stop 15.11.2024 @ 9pm..
