Authentic local place for momos, fried rice, and noodles in Thimphu. The food is OK, but the momos are excellent. I tried both steamed and fried — the latter which tasted ultra greasy and delicious. You may have to fight for seats. Closed on Thursdays. Efficient and quick service.

I visited it twice after being recommended many times by my friends. First I had fried rice and for momo and french fries during the second visit.
The fried rice would have been better if it had been less oily. The steamed momo was fragile. If you cannot tolerate msg, be careful with ezay and soup. They really have so much.
However, the inside settings and environment are nice. Prices are also reasonable.

A favorite place for beef momo. A couple of years back I could gall-time timed dine there almost every day for a couple mom and never get sick of it.
Been away from it every day for years been craving it. Finally got to taste it again. Surprisingly the taste remained the same and if anything service is getting even better and faster. I ordered one plate of beef momo (dumplings) which came with a soup. You need to add your own salt and seasoning. I like mine with lots of chili and salt, tastes heavenly. 😋
Beef momo was extremely hot in temperature and juicy inside 🤩. Ended up having another extra plate 😅
