Reviews – Taktsang Cafeteria
Reviewer Review
Salai Arun CA A neat and clean place to have breakfast during the Tiger’s Nest hike. This place offers a beautiful view of the Tiger’s Nest along with the breakfast.
Shivam Dwivedi Taktsang Cafeteria is a great stop on the way to Tiger’s Nest (Taktsang Monastery). The prices are reasonable, considering everything is brought up from Paro city to provide services along the hiking trail. The food quality is good, and the ample seating space allows you to relax and enjoy a break during your hike. One of the highlights is the stunning view of the monastery while sipping on coffee, which adds to the overall experience. If you’re hiking to Tiger’s Nest, I’d recommend stopping here for a refreshing break.
Aniket Ankam This cafe is exactly midway to the Tiger’s Nest where you can get a glimpse of the monastery. I had a cappuccino for β‚Ή250, which I found a little expensive and not that good. You can find some eatery options too.
Bharathi Mani A great pit stop on your way or back from Tiger’s Nest. We had tea and coffee, and both were good. Everything has to be carried up all the way, so thankful for what they have.
Dr. Mohina S Kulkarni Pema and Sonam take extra efforts to make you comfortable. I had tea; it was awesome. Prices of all items are reasonable. Also, Bhutanese dress for hire is available adjacent to the cafe for only β‚Ή500, with the background being Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
