Reviews – BRO Canteen
Reviewer Review
Prasad Komerwar A canteen managed by the Indian Border Road Organization (BRO), where one can get samosas, jalebis, and other Indian snack items. Must visit if you want to eat Indian snacks that are otherwise not available in most places in Paro, Bhutan.
Vegetarian options: Most Indian snacks available.
Chablop “PaSsu” A beautiful riverside canteen with refreshing outdoor seating—run by DANTAK. The interior is clustered and dingy, but you can forgive the shortcomings when you taste their typical Indian tea and appetising dosa.
Nikhil Kumar Amazing place right in the middle of Bhutan. Awesome Indian food at a very economical price. It is right beside the Pa Chu river and offers amazing views. I loved the dosa and samosas.
Tushar Agrawal I did not eat here. My family did, and they said it was okay. What was amazing was the location. It’s right next to a river, and you can walk down to the river. Kids and adults all had fun. They have a hut outside where one can sit and enjoy snacks by the river.
Akash Ahlawat Amazing place with the best Indian food in Bhutan. Highly recommended.
