This was the only restaurant that we could find open and the lady was very welcoming. She did a set vegetarian menu which was very good. I felt that pricing was very high, $20 for simple food.

One of the only non-hotel restaurants in Jakar. There is no menu, but they offer similar dishes to what you’ll find elsewhere — rice, veggies, beef, etc. The ema datse (chilis with cheese) is made with red peppers and packs some heat. The entrance is hard to find, but Google Maps has the accurate location. A pleasant change from the hotel routine with good food and friendly service.

Came here at 9:30, but they said they were still cleaning and to come back at 10:30. Just my luck today. To think all I need is WiFi and a cup of coffee.
