This is a pretty good Chinese restaurant in the heart of Thimphu. They serve a wide array of dishes. The setting is very comfortable, with large tables welcoming bigger groups. I had the whole fried fish (good sauce, but a bit too hard, not tender meat) and the ginger chicken soup (nostalgic and made me think of grandma’s cooking).

The restaurant was located in town earlier now shifted to Thori Lam just below the DGPC office.Visited this very recently after the lockdown. Though it was Friday lunchtime, there weren’t many customers.FOOD & Service: This one is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Bhutan so far. The food is as good as the one which you get in one of the Chinese specialty restaurants in India and Bangkok, and prices are reasonable too as compared to them.Ambiance – Simple and quite comfortable seating. They do have meal sets and A la carte options.Menu items are limited but whatever they have are the best they serve.Service: Service is quick and the hostesses were helpful and attentive.K u r o
So I recently visited the restaurant, the service was really disappointing and for the food, I don’t even know where to start…. The interior was alright but they were not careful, the food had plastic and hair. Hygiene? Nil. They even served us melted ice cream, tsk tsk. I have heard it is mostly visited by tourists/ foreigners but with this service, I am not sure how they are still in business. Also while we were eating, they kept clearing the utensils, I mean who does that; we were not even done. Such pathetic treatment.
