I eat here every time I am in town, my go-to for Japanese food. The restaurant offers a variety of Japanese, Chinese, and Bhutanese cuisine.
Also, the owner and staff are caring and friendly, they take care of you and make you feel welcome. We went there with my family and tried out different dishes, the Japanese food was really tasty and I will definitely go back for more! The momos (dumplings) are really yummy too.

We liked this restaurant a lot in Thimphu for multiple reasons.
1. All are served fresh here.
2. Prices are quite economical.
3. Got authentic Bhutanese and Japanese food.
The owner of this restaurant is nice and recommended us dishes, which we all liked a lot especially Shamu Datshi(Veg – Mushroom). It’s not a very luxurious place but the quality of the food is good and reasonably priced.
Kinga Wangchuk
This is one of the places where you should visit once if you are in Thimphu. As the food out there is really good. You can try Bhutanese, Indian, and Japanese also. If there is any Japanese looking for a Japanese food. This is the place you need to try.
Abhishek Ganguly
This is the best restaurant around Thimpu center point. They have Indian as well as authentic Bhutanese cuisine. Do visit this place and your taste buds will thank you for doing so.
Pema Wangchug
This is a place where you get your money’s worth. Spacious seating and centrally located. Hit this place at least once every 2 weeks. Hamburg steak and Niratama Momo is 👌
Ezang Pelmo Grg
The service is super late we had to wait more than 45 mins for 4 items so if you hurry then you should not check in to this restaurant Japanese food items are not good.
